The name Laally originated from the word La Ally, which translates from french to The Ally. As a IBCLC, Kate realized that Breastfeeding has its challenges and when a mothers’ milk doesn’t come as quickly as expected or supply begins to diminish, there aren’t many solutions to help continue the breastfeeding process. That's why Laally was created and the Bridge was invented, to be the ally breastfeeding parents need to help them along their journey.
Laally is a company that makes simple products to empower parents. Our product is called the Bridge™. It is the first easy-to-use, at-breast supplementation device that helps babies latch to the breast and moms increase milk supply. Our goal is to increase breastfeeding rates to the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommended exclusive breastfeeding rate of 6 months.

Article 1. Aim of the Code
The aim of this Code is to contribute to the provisions of safe and adequate nutrition for infants, by the protection and promotion of breast-feeding, and by ensuring the proper use of breast-milk substitutes, when these are necessary, on the basis of adequate information and through appropriate marketing and distribution.
Laally supports the WHO Code and adheres to the guidelines recommended to promote breast-feeding. Our goal is provide a short term solution that enables a long term breastfeeding relationship.

Founder & CEO
Kate Spivak PA-C, IBCLC is a Physician Assistant (PA) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She received her Bachelor and Master degrees from Wagner College. She earned her IBCLC certification while working as a PA in a general pediatrics office. She founded Welcome Baby 24/7 in 2015 to help empower breastfeeding. Kate loves to combine her love for medicine with education. She has seen and helped thousands of patients achieve their breastfeeding goals using an evidence based approach and passion for the field.
Max Spivak MBA is a former consultant at McKinsey & Company where he worked primarily on strategy development in healthcare. Before McKinsey, Max led operations and finances at Quick Rx, a privately-held chain of retail pharmacies. He also has experience as a floor trader on the American Exchange and as a Human Capital consultant at Deloitte. Currently, Max also advises medical practices and sits on the Young Leadership Council of Brooklyn Hospital.. Max has a B.S., M.S., and M.B.A. from Cornell University.
Aaron Bronshtein is an innovative, creative and passionate mechanical engineer with extensive skills and experience in technical sales, development of scientific laboratory equipment, and product design. He has designed several medical devices over his career and continues to passionately help healthcare product start-up companies. Aaron graduated from the Wentworth Institute of Technology.
